Covid-19's Impact On Your Home
The COVID-19 epidemic has many (hopefully all) of us changing our routines, social distancing, and changing the way we do business. Sarah Bowman Spaces is committed to putting our clients first and ensuring the well-being of our team members and the Metro Atlanta community. With that as our guide, and in response to COVID-19, or coronavirus, here are some of ways we are enhancing existing services and adding new ones to make staging and living in your home easier and safer:
Vacant Home Staging
Our furnishings only go into vacant homes. We specialize in full-service staging for vacant properties to distinguish your home against other properties on the market.
Virtual Consultation
We can meet with you virtually to conduct an Online Occupied Home Consultation. Our video conference walk and talk consultation provides you with a plan of action to emphasize the positive and reduce the negative. This consultation gives you actionable feedback on first impressions, furniture placement, art and accessories, color suggestions, overall recommendations and staging tips.
E-Design
Quarantined and want to make your space livable, workable, AND beautiful? With our Design in a Day service, we partner together to create the vision and a plan. The end result is a space created just for you, handed over to you and you run with it.
I am thankful for this opportunity to take a step back and focus on what really matters. We are all in this together, and I am happy to share the parts of my day that get me through with gratitude and hope.
Our Playroom
Organizing and rearranging gives me a sense of control, and tackling home projects is at least filling part of my days (with attempting to home school). Our formal living room connects to the dining room and while it was first a “drinking lounge”, is now the playroom. It is one of the first rooms you see when you enter our house, and I’m still holding on to the hope that it looks somewhat consistent with the rest of our house while giving the boys a place to put all their stuff.
So. many. baskets. Every type of block and theme of toy has its own box or basket, and the baskets seemed to be multiplying every night. We already have one partitioned shelf system with labelled boxes (thanks for the idea The Mom Edit), but I needed something else to get the baskets off the floor. Our neighbors left these shelves on the curb and they sat in our garage for months collecting dirt and dust. With newfound free time, I painted them and mounted them to the wall just in case anyone decided to scale to the top shelf.
Every basket found a home, every Lego is color-coded, and even a few favorite photos and snake books get edited into the shelf decor. With the new furniture arrangement, everything has a place and we may get our drinking lounge back someday. Which I am going to need. Indefinitely.
